JOB DESCRIPTION : Amrita Precast Prestressed (P) Ltd.
Post Title : PSC Pole Factory Supervisor Post Number : APPL/01/2012-13 Reporting to : Production Manager Responsible for : The supervision of factory Staff and Works
Main purposes of role :
- To assist in the supervision and development of employees within a designated section and to ensure quality products are manufactured and/or services supplied
- To assist in the supervision of other sections within Amrita Precast Prestressed (P) Ltd., as required
- To be responsible for labour control
- Regular reporting to Company Manager
- Making and reporting Production records
Key Accountabilities :
- To manage the section on behalf of, or in the absence of, the Production Manager, as directed by Company Manager
- To assist in the management of all Health & Safety requirements within the section, as directed by the Production Manager
- To assist with all technical requirements within the PSC Pole manufacturing section/factory
- To ensure effective and efficient PSC pole production methods are employed
- To ensure customer quality standards and specifications are met (eg to British Standards)
- To monitor, record and contribute to the development of factory employees and ensure on-going training and development is incorporated into individual labour training plans
- To input daily data/Records on to the computer system, as required and e-mailing the head office on daily basis
- To ensure all necessary administration is completed, eg route cards, employee reports, attendance information
- To assist in organising transport for deliveries and pick-ups Prepared by: Amrita Precast Prestressed (P) Ltd. Management
- To maintain stock records, as appropriate
- To open/secure the factory premises and act as keyholder
